Welcome to Valencia

Upscale Suburb With World-Renowned Amusement Park

Valencia is an upscale suburb in northern Santa Clarita and within Los Angeles County, south of Southern California’s scenic forests and hills. The community is renowned for its safe neighborhoods, welcoming community, and picturesque housing with mountain views. It was founded as a master-planned community, so all of Valencia’s villages are close to schools, shopping, and other amenities. Public schools in Valencia are all blue ribbon and among the best in the nation. Valencia is also home to the world-famous Six Flags Magic Mountain Amusement Park.

Valencia’s beautifully landscaped boulevards connect single-family homes, sprawling apartment complexes, and small condos with shopping centers, office parks, and industrial warehouses. Many of its single-family homes are in the style of cape Cod, bungalow, and cottage.

Traffic is usually low and parking is easy to find. Valencia is a relatively bike-friendly neighborhood. There is a system of paved pathways called paseos that allow pedestrians and bicyclists to walk or ride over or under the streets and boulevards. They connect the entire community, making it possible to travel throughout nearly all of Valencia on foot or by bicycle. The paseo network is connected to the Santa Clara River Trail which runs east along the Santa Clara River to Canyon Country.
